Episode 8: Double Bubble
The smell of breakfast woke Harry up and he went to the kitchen. Holly and the bug were working together, she was making food and he followed cleaning her mess - still not speaking. Harry pointed at the bug and Holly just chuckled and shrugged her shoulders. At least he was being helpful. She plated the food and they sat down to eat. The bug went to wash the dishes, he didn't have an appetite yet. Or maybe he just didn't like the food? He wasn't sure.
Harry told Holly he wanted to bring the bug to Larry's. He was absolutely sure the bug at Larry's was one they chased away on Halloween. How strange to run into two of them just a couple weeks apart. Maybe Clean Dean would recognize this new guy and they could help each other. Holly reminded Harry of the chaos the bugs caused when they were together, what if reuniting them brings out the worst in them?
They were deep in conversation as the sound of bubbles and water flowed in the background. Holly noticed the sound getting closer, the smell of dish soap bubbles tickling her nose… Suddenly her toes felt wet and bubbly! Harry saw the confusion on her face, they whipped around and faced a wall of bubbles! A wave of water and dish soap overflowed the sink with a rush as a pan at the top of the pile tipped over!
Harry ran to turn off the sink as Holly ran to open the door. Water poured outside and turned the entrance to their burrow into a mud pit. When she walked back inside the bug was standing in the hallway looking lost with a basket of laundry in his hands. He looked shocked at the mess around him, dropped the basket and flew out the open door!
The Dillo's ran to the doorway and watched him fly off, but he only got a couple inches off the ground before he got caught in a bubble. It floated up and away, heading in the direction of Larry's park. They ran after it hoping they would be able to catch him when the bubble bursts.
